This is what you get when you learn all your lessons the hard way. Write some songs, practice, record, book shows, buy a van, hit the road, then do it again. This is what we do. We never waited for that record deal or label interest to get started, this is going to be our life, and we will do it with or without help.


Our music is ever-evolving; influenced by our collective taste in music. We’d be lying if we said our style has never changed. We’ve grown up as a band and as people, and our music reflects that. We call what we do progressive punk rock. We’re not buying in to any specific genre or it’s uniform. It’s more like calling in what’s good about everything and cutting out the crap.


Hot Rod Hotel works kind of like a story. We wanted to write an album that was cohesive, but not necessarily a concept album. The idea: Make it feel like a walk through a hotel, and while passing each room, get the story that is going on inside. Musically, there is a lot going on; organs, strings, piano, and percussion all add to the mood and help create an atmosphere. Dual leading vocals help to define characters. It’s heavy at times, and soft others.
