Cranford, New Jersey gives birth to the newest musical sensation that stands out in a state cluttered with hundreds of mediocre bands. SOCRATIC has quickly opened the eyes of many people. Following months of non-stop shows within New Jersey and it's surrounding states, SOCRATIC has rapidly grown a fan base within the region. They entered the studio to record their debut EP, It's Getting Late. Produced by Chris Badami (Fenix TX, Dillenger Escape Plan, The Starting Line, Midtown), the CD is a prime example of SOCRATIC's powerful guitars found in bands like Midtown with the classic guitar solos of Guns N Roses. Vocally, SOCRATIC offers amazingly catchy harmonies that have been compared to the likes of Jimmy Eat World, with rougher qualities of bands in the vein of Piebald. SOCRATIC knows how to write an impressive song and rock out accordingly. Their energetic live performances have earned them spots on bills with Hot Water Music, Thrice, the Get up Kids, and dates on the Drive-Thru Records Warped Tour stage. Fans of the genre are noticing this NJ band. A strong work ethic, and the love for the music, is driving them to the top.
